Declan Lynch should get a MVP award (if IBM had an MVP program)

March 9 2009

Declan Lynch is my current hero. He has taken something that is super hot in the mind share of the Lotus Community, figured out how overwhelmed some people felt, and broken it down in small pieces that anyone can consume. His Learning XPages tutorial is simply amazing. Bravo Declan!

I also want to mention that I had Pete Janzen ask me to connect him to Declan. I think IBM is as impressed as the rest of us on what Declan has done and I went out of my way to make sure they were connected. IBM, take care of Declan here. Please.

In total agreement. This is the kind of thing IBM should have done already, so they should really be very thankful that people like Declan are doing it. Plus he's doing it so well!

I am 50 / 50 on that topic Carl. There are great IBM training materials for the XPages roadshow, but they are hard to get. Plus, coming from a third-party adds even more value than something from IBM in my eyes. But I am glad Pete took notice and offered to help Declan.

I say he's clearly the frontrunner for next years Planet Lotus Blogger of the year!

It's a bit early in the year to be thinking about blogger of the year awards. For all you know I'll stop blogging again once I've finished teh series and not blog again till December.

    :) You've got a big head start!

Totally agree! Declan deserves something: either offer him to put everything in a redbook, or offer him to do a real book on the subject.

I sure hope he's going to make a PDF out of his series of article. This is huge!
