PSC Business Technology Resources Survey Part 6: Research Influence on Decision Making

As I mentioned before, PSC commissioned Pete Wiltjer Marketing Group to do a Technology Resources Survey. The sixth question we asked technology executives was "What is the importance of gathered research and its influence on decision making?" Here are the results:

This question is about hindsight. After the decision is made, how did the research done effect the outcome? Over half of the respondents believed that gathered research was 'absolutely critical' in the decision. As I try to make decisions on what content to produce on my website and in social media, it is good to know that it might help make a decision.

    Thanks again for sharing. I'm not sure I make the connection on this last question, though. I get the value of researched information and intuitively I would agree with your findings. Not sure about the value, though, because it seems obvious to me.

    I'm probably missing something. Perhaps you can address that when you post the final report.
